In May 1997, WorkComp Network was purchased by
KHA Solutions Group, formerly Coverage Options
Associates (COA). KHA Solutions Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of the
Kentucky Hospital Association. KHA Solutions Group provides workers’
compensation claims, risk management, and managed care services
to fully insured and self-funded programs,
KHA Solutions Group also offers property and casualty insurance and employee
benefit programs for employers of all sizes.
WorkComp Network is full service workers’ compensation
managed care organization (MCO) that has been providing managed
care services since February 1996. WorkComp Network is certified
by the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims to provide MCO
services in Kentucky and is certified as a private review agency
by the Cabinet for Human Resources to provide Utilization Review
Services in Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama.
WorkComp Network’s goal is to focus on containing employer
costs for workers’ compensation. Our cost containment services
include intervening in the early stages of a claim, ensuring
that all costs are necessary and appropriate, and promoting
return to work as soon as possible.
